An epidermal cyst is a very unusual cause of a renal mass, with only three cases reported in English literature. The authors report a case of this in a 51‐year‐old man with left flank pain and hematuria. A 5 × 4 cm‐sized cystic mass, having an irregular margin with stippled calcification, was identified in the lower pole of the left kidney.

Penile epidermal inclusion cyst
Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 2010We report a case of epidermal inclusion cyst of penis in a five-year-old boy, who had presented to the outpatient department of our hospital. Epidermal inclusion cysts are benign lesions that can develop in any part of the body. However, the finding of an epidermal inclusion cyst in the penis is rare. The child was operated and discharged uneventfully.

The punctum sign in epidermal cyst
Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, 2023Epidermal cysts, commonly seen in everyday practice, classically present with a readily identifiable central punctum. However, this is lacking in some patients, making diagnosis more difficult. We describe how to apply pressure between index finger and thumb to the cyst, thus revealing the punctum and enabling a definitive diagnosis.
