Cationic‐Hydrophilic Di‐Block Copolymers: Surface‐Shielded Vectors for Gene Delivery

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 63, Issue 6, Page 1419-1432, 15 March 2025.
This study develops synthetic polycationic di‐block carriers for nucleic acid (NA) delivery in gene therapy. Consisting of a cationic block and a hydrophilic block, these carriers efficiently form complexes with NAs and shield them with a protective bioinert layer, enhancing stability during circulation in the bloodstream while reducing undesirable ...

Molecular and genomic advances in breast cancer: A comprehensive review of predictive and therapeutic innovations

open access: yesPrecision Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
Breast cancer subtypes, estrogen receptor‐positive (ER+), HER2‐enriched, and TNBC, are defined by genomic and epigenetic signatures. Multi‐omics profiling, immunotherapy, liquid biopsy, and AI‐driven radiogenomics enable precision medicine. Tools like Oncotype DX and PAM50 support personalized care.

Single‐nucleotide polymorphisms in coronary artery disease: Biological complexity, risk architecture, and implications for precision prevention

open access: yesPrecision Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
This graphical summary highlights the clinical application of single‐nucleotide polymorphisms‐based risk stratification in coronary artery disease. By integrating polygenic risk with clinical assessment, imaging, and preventive strategies, genetic information enables earlier risk identification, optimized screening, and personalized lifestyle and ...

Intrarenal epidermal cyst

Pathology International, 2003
An epidermal cyst is a very unusual cause of a renal mass, with only three cases reported in English literature. The authors report a case of this in a 51‐year‐old man with left flank pain and hematuria. A 5 × 4 cm‐sized cystic mass, having an irregular margin with stippled calcification, was identified in the lower pole of the left kidney.

Perineal Epidermal Cyst

Urologia Internationalis, 1994
This paper presents a case of perineal epidermal cyst. Diagnostic imagings by ultrasonography, CT scanning and MR imaging described the mass as a cystic tumor on the perineal median raphe. It was excised for the histological diagnosis. The removed mass was shown microscopically to be filled with laminated keratin and to be lined with differentiated ...
