The Nadun Cu–Au mineralization, central Tibet: Root of a high sulfidation epithermal deposit

open access: yesOre Geology Reviews, 2016
A new high sulfidation epithermal Cu–Au occurrence (Nadun) has been discovered adjacent to the Cretaceous Duolong porphyry Cu–Au deposit within the Bangong–Nujiang metallogenic belt, central Tibet.

Epithermal Mineralization in the Okhotsk–Chukchi Volcano-Plutonic Belt

Journal of Volcanology and Seismology, 2018
This paper considers the geochemistry and conditions of generation for the Mesozoic Au–Ag epithermal deposits in the Okhotsk–Chukchi volcanic–plutonic belt (OChVB) in Northeast Russia. We provide new data on the composition and concentrations of trace elements, including REEs, in the ores of epithermal Au–Ag deposits. The ores were found to be enriched

Overview of Epithermal Gold Mineralization in Kyushu, Japan

2001
Abstract Epithermal gold deposits are the principal source of gold in Japan, and mesothermal vein gold or by-product gold from skarn deposits, VMS (the Kuroko type and the Besshi type), and polymetallic veins contribute historically only 10 percent of domestic gold production.

Epithermal Mineralization of the Tokaj Mountains, Northeast Hungary

1999
Abstract The Tokaj Mountains are situated in northeastern Hungary and host one of the oldest Au-Ag-base metal mining districts of the Tertiary-Quaternary volcanic arc of the Carpathians. The first documentation of mining activity of the Telkibánya area in the northern Tokaj Mtns. (Fig. 1) was a 14th century order from the Hungarian Royal

Epithermal Vanadium Mineralization in Sonia Sandstone of Marwar Supergroup, India

Journal of the Geological Society of India, 2022
Abstract Present study of vanadium mineralization in the Sonia sandstone of Jodhpur Group shows first hydrothermal activity in the Sonia sandstone of Marwar Supergroup. The Sonia sandstone served as a host for the mineralizing solutions. The vanadium mineralization occurred in sandstone- gritty sandstone-conglomerate along faults.

Epithermal Alteration and Mineralization in the Comstock District, Nevada

Economic Geology, 2003
The precious and base metal deposits of the world-renowned Comstock district of western Nevada constitute one of several superimposed Miocene hydrothermal systems. In the district, Mesozoic metasedimentary and igneous rocks are overlain by Oligocene to Miocene ash-flow tuffs.

Epithermal Mineralization of the Western Carpathians

1999
Abstract km 0 The first Shell gas station on the M3 motorway after the end of Budapest sign. From here, the M3 motorway crosses the Gödöllő Hills during the next 35–40 kilometers. This area consists of a 2 km thick Tertiary-Quaternary sedimentary sequence underlain by Mesosoic carbonate rocks.
