Physicochemical Properties of Epoxy Resin-Based and Bioceramic-Based Root Canal Sealers

open access: yesBioinorganic Chemistry and Applications, 2017
Three bioceramic sealers (EndoSequence BC sealer, EndoSeal MTA, and MTA Fillapex) and three epoxy resin-based sealers (AH-Plus, AD Seal, and Radic-Sealer) were tested to evaluate the physicochemical properties: flow, final setting time, radiopacity ...

Liquid Metal‐Vitrimer Conductive Composite for Recyclable and Resilient Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
To address the growing electronic waste challenge, an electrically conductive, healable, and recyclable plastic composite is created, composed of vitrimer and liquid metal microdroplets. A reconfigurable circuit board is demonstrated using this composite material, providing a notable step toward sustainable and robust electronic technologies.

Development of a heterogeneous laminating resin system [PDF]

open access: yes
The factors which effect the impact resistance of laminating resin systems and yet retain equivalent performance with the conventional 450 K curing epoxy matrix systems in other areas were studied.

Untying the Knot: A Fully Recyclable, Solvent‐Free, Wide‐Spectral Photocurable Thermoset Adhesive

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a solvent‐free, recyclable adhesive that cures rapidly under visible light (400–650 nm) while maintaining robust adhesion across diverse substrates. Recyclable via simple microwave irradiation, it combines high performance with optical and bioadaptive potential, representing a significant advancement toward sustainable, circular ...

Light‐Fueled In‐Operando Shape Reconfiguration, Fixation, and Recovery of Magnetically Actuated Microtextured Covalent Adaptable Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A covalent adaptable network with dynamic disulfide bonds (DS‐CAN) can rearrange its molecular topology through heating or UV irradiation. When combined with ferromagnetic particles, its photoresponsiveness at room temperature enables contactless, spatiotemporal regulation of dynamic bond exchanges during magnetomechanical actuation.
