Epoxy Resin for Structural Repair of Concrete Pavement
Journal of the Construction Division, 1960Results of tests performed in Laboratory of Corps of Engineers in formulating epoxy resins which will satisfactorily repair surface defects in portland cement concrete pavements, will bond hardened surfaces of concrete together, and will bond new concrete to existing concrete; field applications.

Repair of Damaged Concrete With Epoxy Resins
ACI Journal Proceedings, 1960The use of adhesives and binders containing epoxy resins by California Division of Highways in repairing concrete is described_ Illustrations of their use in repair work are given. The discussion includes possible variations in formulation to secure wanted properties for specific uses, methods of application that are necessary to obtain strong and ...

Application of Epoxy Resins in Tunnel Lining Concrete Repair
Journal of the Construction Division, 1972Concrete lining in a large diameter tunnel spillway damaged by cavitation erosion caused by variable high flows up to 20,000 cfs was repaired by use of bonded concrete, and epoxy bonded epoxy mortar. Epoxy bonded epoxy mortar was used to make the repairs except in the damaged areas of large volume.

Comparative study of epoxy and polyester resin-based polymer concretes
International Journal of Adhesion and Adhesives, 1987Abstract This paper presents a comparative evaluation of two types of polymer concretes, prepared with two different polymer binders (epoxy and polyester resins) with identical aggregate in both cases (crushed quartzite and silica sand). Comparison is also made with a conventional cement concrete.

Engineering Properties of Epoxy Resins Used as Concrete Adhesives
ACI Materials Journal, 1996Some mechanical properties of two commercial bulk-hardened epoxy adhesives were examined to update and complement existing data on these materials. Results revealed that cured epoxy adhesives possess higher tensile and shear strength than portland cement concrete and much-reduced Young's and shear moduli.

An innovative high performance pervious concrete with polyester and epoxy resins
Construction and Building Materials, 2019Abstract Pervious concrete (PC) has been detecting application in pavement and concrete structures such as dams, small retaining walls, and etc during the past decades. Also, in recent years, the types of resins have been introduced to apply in concrete owing to the enhancing in mechanical and durability characteristics.

Thermal Deformation of Machine Tool Structures Using Epoxy Resin Concrete
1986Recently, resin concrete is used in machine tool structures in order to improve the dynamic properties and to reduce the lead time of producing. It has been, however, pointed out by MTIRA that the composite structure made of steel combined with resin concrete is inferior to the structure made of conventional material in the thermal deformation. In this
