The EPR Experiment: A Prelude to Bohr’s Reply to EPR [PDF]
Recent work on Bohr's reply to EPR has helped improve our understanding of Bohr's reply, but further work is needed. In this paper I do two things towards that end. First, I make some elementary points about EPR's argument, which help to clear the air of some minor criticisms of Bohr's reply.

2-Butyl-2-tert-butyl-5,5-diethylpyrrolidine-1-oxyls: Synthesis and Properties
Nitroxides are broadly used as molecular probes and labels in biophysics, structural biology, and biomedical research. Resistance of a nitroxide group bearing an unpaired electron to chemical reduction with low-molecular-weight antioxidants and enzymatic

A recent parallel-opposed 3D-conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) study in mice compared dose escalation (boost) in hypoxic (pO2 ≤ 10 torr) and non-hypoxic tumor subvolumes. They found a hypoxic boost led to significantly greater (p

Abstract The ER = EPR correspondence relates a superposition of entangled, disconnected spacetimes to a connected spacetime with an Einstein-Rosen bridge. We construct examples in which both sides may be described by weakly-coupled string theory.

In vivo EPR for dosimetry [PDF]
As a result of terrorism, accident, or war, populations potentially can be exposed to doses of ionizing radiation that could cause direct clinical effects within days or weeks. There is a critical need to determine the magnitude of the exposure to individuals so that those with significant risk have appropriate procedures initiated immediately, while ...

Taurine-EVA copolymer-paraffin rods dosimeters for EPR high-dose radiation dosimetry
Taurine/EPR rods (3 × 10 mm) have been prepared by a simple technique in the laboratory where taurine powder was mixed with a molten mixture of paraffin wax and an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer.
