Is the Moon There If Nobody Looks: Bell Inequalities and Physical Reality
Bell-CHSH inequalities are trivial algebraic properties satisfied by each line of an Nx4 spreadsheet containing ±1 entries, thus it is surprising that their violation in some experiments allows us to speculate about the existence of non-local influences ...

Insolubility from No-Signalling [PDF]
This paper improves on the result in my http://philsci-archive.pitt.edu/9121/, showing that within the framework of the unitary Schroedinger equation it is impossible to reproduce the phenomenological description of quantum mechanical measurements (in ...

A snap‐top delivery nanosystem based on an azobenzene metal–organic framework achieves targeted release of 6‐mercaptopurine via acid‐stable frameworks and hypoxia/pH dual‐responsive β‐cyclodextrin gates. This multifunctional platform integrates three synergistic mechanisms: precision drug delivery to inflammatory sites, intrinsic antioxidant properties

MetalCenter‐Dependent Selectivity Divergence in MN4 Single‐Atom Catalysts for Aerobic HMF Oxidation
Two single‐atom catalysts with M‐N4 configurations (FeN4 and CoN4) were developed for selective HMF oxidation. FeN4 achieves 93.9% selectivity toward FFCA via superoxide anions (O2•−), while CoN4 preferentially produces FDCA through hydroxyl radicals (•OH). DFT calculations reveal that distinct adsorption energies and charge redistribution at the metal

Inspired by natural amino acid polymer‐melanin systems, this study strategically incorporated tellurocysteine to develop advanced radiation‐shielding materials. This approach transformed the primary interaction mechanism between melanin‐based materials and incident photons from Compton scattering to the photoelectric effect. Tellurocysteine‐polymerized

The EPR Paradox. Roots and Ramifications [PDF]
Action at a distance at a speed greater than the speed of light was not an acceptable idea for Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen (EPR) [2.1], but it was for Heisenberg [2.2]. Today, because of experimental results [2.3,4] and theoretical analysis [2.5, 6], such action looks, in all likelihood, like a real effect. The argument leading to this conclusion can

An atomically dispersed Co–N4 single‐atom catalyst rapidly activates peroxymonosulfate to remove the antibiotic sulfamethoxazole from water. Common ions have little impact, but chloride dramatically speeds degradation by promoting a high‐valent Co(IV) = O oxidant via in situ HOCl–catalyst electron transfer.

This study confirms that GGT1 is a key driver of neuronal ferroptosis following spinal cord injury. We developed NSCm@EA, a biomimetic delivery system coated with neural stem cell membranes, for precise delivery of enocyanin to injured neurons. By combining targeted delivery with ubiquitination degradation mechanisms, this system promotes MGRN1 ...

EPR Paradox Solved by Special Theory of Relativity
This paper uses the special theory of relativity to introduce a novel solution to Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox. More specifically, the faster-than-light communication is described to explain two types of EPR paradox experiments: photon polarization ...
