Carbon materials play a critical role in perovskite‐type metal oxide cathodes for zinc‐based batteries. Beyond improving electrical conductivity, carbon actively participates in oxygen reduction and evolution reactions, forming metal–oxygen carbon bonds that enhance catalytic performance.
