Electrochemical Characteristics of Zinc Oxide-Polyethyleneglycol Complex Films Using EQCM
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2014ZnO-PEG-ZnO complex film was fabricated by forming ZnO thin film on the Polyethyleneglycol (PEG) thin film. ZnO thin films were formed by an electrostatic method and ZnO-PEG complex films were fabricated by adsorbing PEG on the ZnO thin films surface with hydrogen bond.

A SECM assisted EQCM study of iron pitting
Electrochimica Acta, 2007The local breakdown of the iron passive layer and the resulting pitting corrosion of iron were studied for massive material and for a thin film on an electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM). The initiation and the propagation of a single pit on iron were controlled through the local production of chloride anion thanks to the silver chloride ...

Investigation of Sn–Zn electrodeposition from acidic bath on EQCM
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2011Abstract Tin–zinc (Sn–Zn) alloy with low tin content was deposited on gold electrode and steel substrate with use of chronoamperometric technique from an acidic bath. In order to evaluate coating efficiency of Sn–Zn alloy in 0.5 M NaCl solution, open circuit potential–time curve ( E OCP – t ), polarization curves, mass change of the electrode (Δ m –

Electrochemical Deposition of Tin and Silicon Studied by EQCM
ECS Transactions, 2014Silicon and Tin thin films were prepared by electrochemical deposition on copper and nickel substrates in the Atmosbag. Electrochemical activity is described by cyclic voltammetry and for studying increase of weight were used EQCM. Deposited layers were studied by optic microscopy, electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.

The EQCM: electrogravimetry with a light touch
Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry, 2011In its simplest manifestation, the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) is a relatively new device for executing a classical technique, electrogravimetry. The advantages it brought were in situ applicability (notwithstanding prior misconceptions regarding damping by a contacting fluid), exceptional sensitivity and dynamic capability ...

EQCM Study of Rhodium Anodic Dissolution in Sulfuric Acid
Russian Journal of Electrochemistry, 2002Rh anodic dissolution is studied in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution in the E range from 0.2 to 1.2 V (RHE) by means of EQCM, cyclic voltammetry, photometry, and XPS. Bright pure Rh electroplate ∼0.5 μm thick on a gold sputtered quartz crystal electrode is used for electrochemical and microgravimetrical studies. It is found that the increase in Rh electrode weight
