Design and synthesis of the audio equalizers
Proceedings 7th International Conference on Signal Processing, 2004. Proceedings. ICSP '04. 2004., 2005This paper designs and synthesizes audio equalizers for multimedia applications. In order to prevent the equalizers from boosting undesired frequency components, the peaks of the inverse model of room transfer function are clipped. Different techniques are then used to synthesize the equalizer from the clipped amplitude response.

Multipoint equalization of digital car audio systems
2009 Proceedings of 6th International Symposium on Image and Signal Processing and Analysis, 2009In this paper a novel approach for automotive sound system enhancement based on multipoint equalization is presented. Beginning from well known techniques applied to room equalization issues, a frequency domain algorithm that combines fractional octave smoothing of measured impulse responses (IRs) in multiple locations is developed.
