Calculation of Thermodynamic properties of Fluid Using a New Equation of State [PDF]
Using the Lennard-Jones (12-6) potential, a new equation of state is obtained that can predict properties of both gases and liquids relatively well. This equation of state is given as (Z-a)V2=(A/V2)-B, where Z is the compressibility factor, A and B are ...

CURVES OF THERMODYNAMIC STATES IN SOME FLUIDS WITH DISPERSION
Variations in the thermodynamic state of a dispersive medium, caused by sound, are studied. A bubbly liquid and a Maxwell fluid are considered as examples. Curves in the plane of thermodynamic states are plotted.

Uniqueness and stability of steady-state solution with finite energy to the fractal Burgers equation [PDF]
The paper is concerned with the steady-state Burgers equation of fractional dissipation on the real line. We first prove the global existence of viscosity weak solutions to the fractal Burgers equation driven by the external force. Then the existence and uniqueness of solution with finite $H^{\frac{\alpha}{2}}$ energy to the steady-state equation are ...

Primordial black holes with an accurate QCD equation of state [PDF]
Making use of definitive new lattice computations of the Standard Model thermodynamics during the quantum chromodynamic (QCD) phase transition, we calculate the enhancement in the mass distribution of primordial black holes (PBHs) due to the softening of

Hermansky‐Pudlak syndrome type 1 (HPS‐1) is a rare, autosomal recessive disorder with poorly understood renal involvement. Urinary extracellular vesicle (uEV) proteomics and a novel Hps1 mouse model reveal mitochondrial abnormalities and lipid accumulation in HPS‐1 kidney proximal tubule cells. Serum ApoA1 correlates with kidney function in our patient

Revisiting Barrow's graduated inflationary universe: A warm perspective
It is presumed that thermal fluctuations present during inflationary epoch can make inflaton scalar field to interact with other fields resulting in the existence of a thermal component during the inflationary period.

THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF BCC-FE TO MELTING TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE TO 15 GPA
Based on Helmholtz’s free energy, an equation of state of iron (bcc-Fe) is constructed with simultaneous optimization of ultrasonic, X-ray diffraction, dilatometric, and thermochemical measurements in the temperature range from 100 K to the melting ...

Constraining the dense matter equation-of-state with radio pulsars [PDF]
Radio pulsars provide some of the most important constraints for our understanding of matter at supranuclear densities. So far, these constraints are mostly given by precision mass measurements of neutron stars (NS). By combining single measurements of

The mitochondrial outer membrane iron–sulphur ([Fe‐S]) protein mitoNEET is a target of the type‐2 diabetes drug pioglitazone. Its unknown molecular function is linked to respiratory complex activity and mitochondrial function. We discovered that O2 protects the mitoNEET [2Fe‐2S] cluster against NO oxidation and desensitization towards reduction by H2S.

Thermodynamics of spacetime: The Einstein equation of state. [PDF]
The Einstein equation is derived from the form of black hole entropy together with the fundamental relation $\delta Q=TdS$ connecting heat, entropy, and temperature.
