Research for equilateral triangle optical resonators
Advances in Optoelectronics and Micro/nano-optics, 2010An important feature for the Micro-resonator is the quality factor. This Paper presents a new equilateral triangle micro-resonator (ETR) design, simulates the spectral response by FDTD method, then calculates the quality factor (Q factor), and compare the results with the micro-ring resonator (MR) with similar footprint.

Configurations of inscribed equilateral triangles
Journal of Geometry, 2007This paper explores equilateral triangles XYZ with vertices on sidelines of a given triangle ABC such that one side of XYZ is parallel to the corresponding side of ABC. There are six such triangles. They have many interesting properties which we investigate using trilinear coordinates.

Distinct equilateral triangle dissections of convex regions.
2012The dissection (tiling) of an integer sided equilateral triangle into smaller, integer sided equilateral triangles is a classic problem considered by \textit{W. T. Tutte} in [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 50, 137--149 (1948; Zbl 0030.08102)]. In the paper under review an extra restriction is imposed on the dissection.
