A chaos-based adaptive equilibrium optimizer algorithm for solving global optimization problems

open access: yesMathematical Biosciences and Engineering, 2023
The equilibrium optimizer (EO) algorithm is a newly developed physics-based optimization algorithm, which inspired by a mixed dynamic mass balance equation on a controlled fixed volume. The EO algorithm has a number of strengths, such as simple structure,

Systemic optimal risk transfer equilibrium [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics and Financial Economics, 2021
AbstractWe propose a novel concept of a Systemic Optimal Risk Transfer Equilibrium (SORTE), which is inspired by the Bühlmann’s classical notion of an Equilibrium Risk Exchange. We provide sufficient general assumptions that guarantee existence, uniqueness, and Pareto optimality of such a SORTE. In both the Bühlmann and the SORTE definition, each agent

Equilibrium Selection via Optimal Transport [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 2020
We propose a new dynamics for equilibrium selection of finite player discrete strategy games. The dynamics is motivated by optimal transportation, and models individual players' myopicity, greedy and uncertainty when making decisions. The stationary measure of the dynamics provides each pure Nash equilibrium a probability by which it is ranked.
