Duality for Equilibrium Problems
Journal of Global Optimization, 2006We consider equilibrium problems in the framework of the formulation proposed by Blum and Oettli. We establish a new dual formulation for this equilibrium problem using the classical Fenchel conjugation, thus generalizing the classical convex duality theory for optimization problems.

Technical problems in equilibrium dialysis
Immunochemistry, 1973Abstract It was found that several DNP-hapten preparations contained low levels of contamination with radioactive, weakly bound impurities which could not be removed by routine methods. This contamination resulted in artificially low values for antibody affinity and artificially high values for the heterogeneity index.

The network equilibrium problem in integers
Networks, 1973AbstractIn the usual approach to network equilibrium models, the flow variables are modeled as continuous. When the problem under study involves discrete decision makers each controlling an indivisible unit of flow, another approach is called for. We treat the problem as an n‐person noncooperative game with pure strategies corresponding to feasible ...

Motivated by various applications of multi-criteria decision making, extensions of scalar equilibrium problems, discussed in Chap. 1, for the vector case were proposed. Among them, the most investigated problems are vector optimization and vector saddle point.

On a class of nonconvex equilibrium problems
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2004The author considers an equilibrium problem of the form: Find \(u \in K\) such that \[ F(g(u), g(v)) \geq 0 \quad \forall v \in K, \] where \(K\) is a closed set in a Hilbert space, \(g : K \rightarrow K\) is a mapping, and \(F : K \times K \rightarrow R\) is a bifunction. Moreover, the set \( g^{-1}(K)\) is supposed to be convex. Extensions of several
