ON SOLUTION MAPPING OF EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS

JP Journal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2016
The paper introduces a solution mapping of the equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. The contractiveness, nonexpansiveness and strictly pseudo-contractiveness of the solution mapping under the corresponding monotone assumptions of the bifunction are obtained.

On Equilibrium Problems

2010
In this chapter we give an overview of the theory of scalar equilibrium problems. To emphasize the importance of this problem in nonlinear analysis and in several applied fields we first present its most important particular cases as optimization, Kirszbraun’s problem, saddlepoint (minimax) problems, and variational inequalities.

Time-Dependent Equilibrium Problems

2008
Abstract The paper presents variational models for dynamic traffic, dynamic market, and evolutionary financial equilibrium problems taking into account that the equilibria are not fixed and move with time. The authors provide a review of the history of the variational inequality approach to problems in physics, traffic networks, and others, then they ...

Equivalence of Equilibrium Problems and Least Element Problems

Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, 2007
The authors introduce the concept of feasible set for an equilibrium problem with a convex cone, and generalize the notion of a \(Z\)-function for bifunctions. Under suitable assumptions, they derive some equivalence results of equilibrium problems, least element problems, and nonlinear programming problems.
