Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hydrogels: Dynamics in the Diffusion‐Limited Regime
A time‐dependent continuum model is developed to capture the transient swelling dynamics of chemo‐mechanical hydrogels. By coupling chemical reactions, solvent transport, and polymer deformation, volume phase transitions, reaction kinetics, and transient mechanical instabilities are analyzed.

THERMODYNAMICS OF EQUILIBRIUM AND STABILITY
The dependence of the entropy of a homogeneous system on the composition is investigated with the help of a reversible adiabatic process which allows the change of composition by means of a semipermeable wall. The conditions of equilibrinm for phase transition and for homogeneous chemical reaction are derived in a new way. Next the criterion of minimum

The role of ionomers is investigated in advancing cobalt‐based oxygen evolution catalysts in pure‐water anion exchange membrane electrolysers. Using in situ electrochemical analysis, ex situ material characterization, and membrane potential sensing, it is observed surface reconstruction at high currents and mitigated it via ionomer coating, achieving ...

PerFluoroAlkyl Substances (PFAS) are responsible of major and persistent environmental pollution worldwide. This work demonstrates an ultra‐sensitive sensor for PFAS based on an organic transistor whose gate is functionalized with a binary self‐assembled monolayer containing a perfluorinated molecule.
