Multiple mobile operating tables for eye surgery
High-volume eye surgery requires that patients be moved quickly in and out of the operating room (OR). Static operating tables in the OR make this difficult. Better patient flow can be achieved when using mobile tables, which can be expensive.

Abstract Purpose Single‐isocenter multitarget (SIMT) radiosurgery has become increasingly popular as advancement in planning and delivery systems have made this approach clinically viable. With targets varying in size and distance from isocenter, SIMT plans are highly complex with dynamic multileaf collimator (MLC) motion.

Abstract Purpose Palliative radiotherapy comprises a significant portion of the radiation treatment workload. Volumetric‐modulated arc therapy (VMAT) improves dose conformity and, in conjunction with flattening filter free (FFF) delivery, can decrease treatment times, both of which are desirable in a population with a high probability of retreatment ...

Dose rate correction of a diode array for universal wedge field dosimetric verification
Abstract Purpose To study the performance of MapCHECK 3 (MC3) in measuring universal wedge fields and propose a dose rate correction strategy to improve MC3 measurement accuracy. Materials and methods Universal wedge fields with different wedge angles and field sizes were measured at different depths using MC3.

GNN-based Probabilistic Supply and Inventory Predictions in Supply Chain Networks [PDF]
Successful supply chain optimization must mitigate imbalances between supply and demand over time. While accurate demand prediction is essential for supply planning, it alone does not suffice. The key to successful supply planning for optimal and viable execution lies in maximizing predictability for both demand and supply throughout an execution ...

Abstract Purpose Due to the tight curvature in their design, ring applicators are usually associated with large positioning errors. The standard practice to correct for these deviations based on global offsets may not be sufficient to comply with the recommended tolerance.
