In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Equitable Coloring on Total Graph of Bigraphs and Central Graph of Cycles and Paths
The notion of equitable coloring was introduced by Meyer in 1973. In this paper we obtain interesting results regarding the equitable chromatic number 𝜒= for the total graph of complete bigraphs 𝑇(𝐾𝑚,𝑛), the central graph of cycles 𝐶(𝐶𝑛) and the central ...

Equitable Coloring ofk-Uniform Hypergraphs [PDF]
Let $H$ be a $k$-uniform hypergraph with $n$ vertices. A {\em strong $r$-coloring} is a partition of the vertices into $r$ parts, such that each edge of $H$ intersects each part. A strong $r$-coloring is called {\em equitable} if the size of each part is $\lceil n/r \rceil$ or $\lfloor n/r \rfloor$.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Parameterized complexity of fair deletion problems
Deletion problems are those where given a graph $G$ and a graph property $\pi$, the goal is to find a subset of edges such that after its removal the graph $G$ will satisfy the property $\pi$. Typically, we want to minimize the number of elements removed.

Equitable colorings of $K_4$-minor-free graphs
We demonstrate that for every positive integer $\Delta$, every $K_4$-minor-free graph with maximum degree $\Delta$ admits an equitable coloring with $k$ colors where $k\ge\frac{\Delta+3}{2}$. This bound is tight and confirms a conjecture by Zhang and Wu. We do not use the discharging method but rather exploit decomposition trees

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Rainbow Matchings: existence and counting
A perfect matching M in an edge-colored complete bipartite graph K_{n,n} is rainbow if no pair of edges in M have the same color. We obtain asymptotic enumeration results for the number of rainbow matchings in terms of the maximum number of occurrences ...
