Criterion for SLOCC equivalence of multipartite quantum states [PDF]
We study the stochastic local operation and classical communication (SLOCC) equivalence for arbitrary dimensional multipartite quantum states. For multipartite pure states, we present a necessary and sufficient criterion in terms of their coefficient matrices.

Design of stability of soil slopes inevitably involves many uncertainties, but the deterministic design method is difficult to properly consider various uncertainties.

Criterion of local unitary equivalence for multipartite states [PDF]
We study the local unitary equivalence of arbitrary dimensional multipartite quantum mixed states. We present a necessary and sufficient criterion of the local unitary equivalence for general multipartite states based on matrix realignment. The criterion is shown to be operational even for particularly degenerated states by detailed examples.

Strong Equivalence of Qualitative Optimization Problems [PDF]
We introduce the framework of qualitative optimization problems (or, simply, optimization problems) to represent preference theories. The formalism uses separate modules to describe the space of outcomes to be compared (the generator) and the preferences

The principle of equivalence as a criterion of identity [PDF]
In 1907 Einstein had the insight that bodies in free fall do not "feel" their own weight. This has been formalized in what is called "the principle of equivalence." The principle motivated a critical analysis of the Newtonian and special-relativistic concepts of inertia, and it was indispensable to Einstein's development of his theory of gravitation. A

On generic structures preserving elementary equivalence and elementary embeddability
We consider criteria for elementary equivalence and elementary embeddability for generic structures. They use classical characterizations for the general case.

Unitary quantization of a scalar charged field and Schwinger effect
Quantum field theory in curved spacetimes suffers in general from an infinite ambiguity in the choice of Fock representation and associated vacuum. In cosmological backgrounds, the requirement of a unitary implementation of the field dynamics in the ...

Deciding equivalence-based properties using constraint solving [PDF]
Formal methods have proved their usefulness for analyzing the security of protocols. Most existing results focus on trace properties like secrecy or authentication.

Evaluation of dynamic characteristics of a linear time-varying system
Purpose. The development of methodological support for the construction of an algorithm for calculating the coefficients of the transfer function of the second order link, which is equivalent to a time-varying system in the selected time interval from ...
