The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Rational equivalence relations
Rational relations (finite transductions) which are equivalence relations are discussed. After establishing a containment hierarchy, the complexity of canonical function computation and a number of class membership decision problems are studied. The following classes are considered: (1) rational equivalence relations, (2) equivalence kernels of ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Efeito de instruções sobre a demonstração de equivalência entre posições
A maioria dos trabalhos sobre equivalência com participantes humanos resultou na formação de classes de equivalência independentemente das características dos estímulos empregados.

FORCING CONSTRUCTIONS AND COUNTABLE BOREL EQUIVALENCE RELATIONS [PDF]
We prove a number of results about countable Borel equivalence relations with forcing constructions and arguments. These results reveal hidden regularity properties of Borel complete sections on certain orbits. As consequences they imply the nonexistence

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

Neural correlates of derived relational responding on tests of stimulus equivalence
Background An essential component of cognition and language involves the formation of new conditional relations between stimuli based upon prior experiences. Results of investigations on transitive inference (TI) highlight a prominent role for the medial

Structurable equivalence relations [PDF]
For a class $\mathcal K$ of countable relational structures, a countable Borel equivalence relation $E$ is said to be $\mathcal K$-structurable if there is a Borel way to put a structure in $\mathcal K$ on each $E$-equivalence class.

AbstractThere are Bn different equivalence relations on a set of n distinct objects, where exp(ex−1)≡∑nBnxnn!If each relation has weight 1Bn, and a relation selected at random, the result of Harper [2] is that the number of blocks in a random equivalence relation is asymptotically normal.
