Electric Circuit Equivalent to a Synaptic Vesicle

open access: yesActa Biológica Colombiana, 2003
In the present work an electrical model of the synaptic vesicle is developed. The vesicleis considered as a spheroidal organelle without neurotransmitters in its inner space.

Analysis of equivalent circuit models in lithium-ion batteries

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
This study investigates lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery discharge at a constant current by comparing equivalent circuit simulation data with experimental data. The simulations employ Thévenin equivalent circuit models consisting of a resistance, capacitance,

Understanding and Tuning Mobile Interfaces in Ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 Thin Films in Relation to Microstructure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectricity in thin HfO2‐based films offers great possibilities for next‐generation neuromorphic memory devices. There, the response to subcoercive voltage signals is driven by the movement of mobile interfaces and their interaction with crystal defects – a yet rather unexplored aspect, which we shed light on and gain new insights into the complex

Two-port equivalent circuit model for UHVDC converter valves

open access: yesCSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems, 2019
UHVDC converter valves during operation may experience overvoltage, which come from the AC or DC systems to which they are connected. Therefore, building an equivalent circuit model (ECM) for the converter valve to analyze the interlayer transient ...

Universal and deterministic manipulation of the quantum state of harmonic oscillators: a route to unitary gates for Fock State qubits

open access: yes, 2004
We present a simple quantum circuit that allows for the universal and deterministic manipulation of the quantum state of confined harmonic oscillators. The scheme is based on the selective interactions of the referred oscillator with an auxiliary three ...

Regiorandom Polythiophenes for Fully Stretchable Electrochemical Transistors and Logic Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Regiorandom (RRa) polythiophenes, once regarded as unsuitable for electronics, exhibit exceptional switching performance via volumetric electrochemical doping. Optimized RRa‐based organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) achieve a high on/off ratio (≈104), stable operation under 200% strain, and enable fully stretchable logic gates, demonstrating ...

Study of Electromagnetic Forming of Cylindrical Workpieces Based on Equivalent Electrical Circuit [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2008
Electromagnetic forming is a method ofmetal working by plastic deformation, under theaction of forces acting on the conductor in a rapidlyvarying magnetic field obtained by discharging abattery of condensers through a forming coil.

Temperature‐Modulated Threshold Response in a Volatile Memristor: Toward a Biomimetic Polymodal Nociceptive System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates an artificial polymodal nociceptor whose firing threshold is actively modulated by temperature. A volatile TiN/TiOx/ZnO/TiOx/ITO memristor shows interfacial ion–driven resistive switching and membrane‐potential‐like dynamics, enabling temperature‐dependent nociceptive behavior.

Optimization of transistor design including large signal device/circuit interactions at extremely high frequencies (20-100+GHz) [PDF]

open access: yes
Transistor design for extremely high frequency applications requires consideration of the interaction between the device and the circuit to which it is connected.
