Equivalent Circuit Models for Optical Amplifiers [PDF]
Electrical equivalent circuit models for optical components are useful as they allow existing, well-developed circuit simulators to be used in design and analysis of optoelectronic devices. A circuit simulator also allows integration with electrical components (package parasitic, laser driver circuit, etc.). Equivalent circuit models were developed and

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

Microwave characterization and modeling of GaAs/AlGaAs heterojunction bipolar transistors [PDF]
The characterization and modeling of a microwave GaAs/AlGaAs heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) are discussed. The de-embedded scattering parameters are used to derive a small signal lumped element equivalent circuit model using EEsof's Touchstone ...

Regiorandom Polythiophenes for Fully Stretchable Electrochemical Transistors and Logic Circuits
Regiorandom (RRa) polythiophenes, once regarded as unsuitable for electronics, exhibit exceptional switching performance via volumetric electrochemical doping. Optimized RRa‐based organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) achieve a high on/off ratio (≈104), stable operation under 200% strain, and enable fully stretchable logic gates, demonstrating ...

A charging model for three-axis stabilized spacecraft [PDF]
A charging model was developed for geosynchronous, three-axis stabilized spacecraft when under the influence of a geomagnetic substorm. The differential charging potentials between the thermally coated or blanketed outer surfaces and metallic structure ...

This study demonstrates an artificial polymodal nociceptor whose firing threshold is actively modulated by temperature. A volatile TiN/TiOx/ZnO/TiOx/ITO memristor shows interfacial ion–driven resistive switching and membrane‐potential‐like dynamics, enabling temperature‐dependent nociceptive behavior.
