Novel Approach for Electromagnetic Actuators Analysis in Transient Behavior

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2012
A new model of the actuator is proposed in this paper. It considers the nonlinear electromagnetic phenomena in the ferromagnetic core, as well as the influence of the mechanical load during the plunger movement.

Hierarchical MXene‐Derived NTP/C Nanohybrids for Cryogenic Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical MXene‐derived NaTi2(PO4)3/C nanohybrid enables efficient sodium‐ion storage down to −40°C by integrating fast ion–electron transport pathways with an ether‐based electrolyte. The system promotes dominant pseudocapacitive behavior and forms a robust inorganic‐rich SEI, collectively mitigating kinetic and interfacial limitations, thereby ...

The size and depth of Boolean circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
textWe study the relationship between size and depth for Boolean circuits. Over four decades, very few results were obtained for either special or general Boolean circuits.

Bandgap‐Engineered AlGaAs/GaAs Heterostructures for Wavelength‐Selective Dual‐Polarity Photoelectrochemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bandgap‐engineered AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures exhibit wavelength‐selective dual‐polarity photoelectrochemistry, switching from photocathodic to photoanodic response depending on excitation wavelength. The polarity transition is governed by band‐selective absorption, built‐in electric‐field‐driven carrier transport, and interfacial charge‐transfer ...

Support‐Controlled Reaction Pathways via Dynamic Sulfur‐Mediated Interfaces for Selective Urea Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sulfur‐doped graphitized carbon nanofibers act as adaptive catalyst–support platforms, enabling dynamic sulfur‐mediated reconstruction and strong metal–support interactions. This unique behavior enhances catalyst stability and controls reaction pathways, achieving highly selective urea oxidation (∼92% N2) coupled with efficient hydrogen evolution ...

THE PHENOMENON OF INSTANT POTENTIAL ENERGY TRANSMISSION BETWEEN ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS AND NETWORKS

open access: yesElectrical engineering & Electromechanics, 2014
Transmission of accumulated potential electromagnetic energy between closed circuits can be performed instantly without both its value variation and the equivalent work execution. As a result, a closed circuit or a separated system can obtain free energy

Equivalent circuits of unbalanced loads supplied with symmetrical and asymmetrical voltage and their identification

open access: yes, 1995
A concept of equivalent circuits of three-phase unbalanced loads supplied with symmetrical and with asymmetrical voltage is discussed in the paper. In particular, it is shown that there is an infinite number of equivalent circuits of unbalanced loads ...
