Equivalent Electrical Circuits of Thermoelectric Generators under Different Operating Conditions

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Energy harvesting has become a promising and alternative solution to conventional energy generation patterns to overcome the problem of supplying autonomous electrical systems.

Quantum Computation as Geometry

open access: yes, 2006
Quantum computers hold great promise, but it remains a challenge to find efficient quantum circuits that solve interesting computational problems. We show that finding optimal quantum circuits is essentially equivalent to finding the shortest path ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Measuring equivalent circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 1960
"October 22, 1960.""Reprinted from Volume XXII, Proceedings of the American Power Conference.""The equivalent circuit is a familiar tool to power system engineers. Today's large interconnected power systems often are studied as electric networks in which

An efficient numerical algorithm for the transient analysis of high-frequency non-linear circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The paper proposes a new approach for the discrete-time integration of non-linear differential equations that describe the behaviour of high-frequency circuits, in particular those containing complex equivalent-circuit models of microwave transistor ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Efficient Equivalent Circuits Model for Electric-LC Resonators in Periodic and Closed Waveguides

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper details the extraction of possible equivalent circuits over a wide band for an Electric-LC resonator in two technological configurations: a) a multilayer stack working at mm-wave and b) a WR90 waveguide in the X band.

Equivalent Electrical Circuits and Their Use Across Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Application Domains

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
When studying electrochemical systems, EIS practitioners face the challenge of choosing a relevant equivalent electrical circuit to analyze their measurement data and interpreting the role of its components.

Noiseless Quantum Circuits for the Peres Separability Criterion

open access: yes, 2005
In this Letter we give a method for constructing sets of simple circuits that can determine the spectrum of a partially transposed density matrix, without requiring either a tomographically complete POVM or the addition of noise to make the spectrum non ...

Quasi-Delay-Insensitive Circuits are Turing-Complete [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Quasi-delay-insensitive (QDI) circuits are those whose correct operation does not depend on the delays of operators or wires, except for certain wires that form isochronic forks.
