Blurring the Boundaries: An Investigation of Eating Disorder Recovery Content on TikTok

ABSTRACT Objective Eating disorder recovery content is widely circulated on TikTok. We thematically analyzed recovery content on TikTok, examined its associations with symptom severity among individuals with eating disorders, and assessed its co‐occurrence with pro‐eating disorder material within their TikTok feeds.

Developing a macroecology for human‐altered ecosystems

Although anthropogenically‐induced ecological disruptions are fundamentally important in defining ecosystem properties, they are largely overlooked by macroecological theory. Anthropogenic disruptions and their effects are generally not comparable to one another, nor to disturbances that are part of natural disturbance regimes.

Nanostructured Optical Superabsorbers from Carbon Nanotube Forest for Heat Management Using Environmental Blackbody Radiation from the Visible to Mid‐Infrared

Our computational model of the optical absorption from multiwalled carbon nanotubes suggests the optical absorption depends strongly on the in‐plane electrical conductivity, and weakly on the through‐plane conductivity. Such strong absorption enables solar‐to‐thermal conversion for heat scavenging in cold climates and radiative cooling in hot climates,

A High‐Performance Oxidized Graphene for Dendrite‐Free Anodes and Kinetically Enhanced Cathodes of Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries

Oxidized graphene rich in carboxylic acid groups obtained via a simple electrochemical exfoliation route is shown to tackle the main challenges of aqueous Zn‐ion batteries (AZIBs), specifically short Zn anode cycle life and sluggish cathode reaction kinetics.
