Equivariant homology and cohomology of groups

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 2005
We provide and study an equivariant theory of group (co)homology of a group G with coefficients in a gamma-equivariant G-module A, when a separate group "gamma" acts on G and A, generalizing the classical Eilenberg-MacLane (co)homology of groups. Relationship with equivariant cohomology of topological spaces is established and application to algebraic ...

On the parameterized Tate construction

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 18, Issue 1, March 2025.
Abstract We introduce and study a genuine equivariant refinement of the Tate construction associated to an extension Ĝ$\widehat{G}$ of a finite group G$G$ by a compact Lie group K$K$, which we call the parameterized Tate construction (−)tGK$(-)^{t_G K}$.

Equivariant Cohomological Chern Characters [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
We construct for an equivariant cohomology theory for proper equivariant CW-complexes an equivariant Chern character, provided that certain conditions about the coefficients are satisfied. These conditions are fulfilled if the coefficients of the equivariant cohomology theory possess a Mackey structure.

Geometric Relational Framework for General‐Relativistic Gauge Field Theories

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract It is recalled how relationality arises as the core insight of general‐relativistic gauge field theories from the articulation of the generalized hole and point‐coincidence arguments. Hence, a compelling case for a manifestly relational framework ensues naturally.

The master relation for polynomiality and equivalences of integrable systems

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 57, Issue 2, Page 599-604, February 2025.
Abstract We prove the so‐called master relation in the tautological ring of the moduli space of curves that implies polynomial properties of the Dubrovin–Zhang hierarchies associated to different versions of cohomological field theories as well as their equivalences to the corresponding double ramification hierarchies.

Quantum bumpless pipe dreams

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
Schubert polynomials are polynomial representatives of Schubert classes in the cohomology of the complete flag variety and have a combinatorial formulation in terms of bumpless pipe dreams.

Positivity in equivariant quantum Schubert Calculus [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
We prove a positivity result in (T-)equivariant quantum cohomology of the homogeneous space G/P, generalizing Graham's positivity in equivariant cohomology.

Euler characteristics of affine ADE Nakajima quiver varieties via collapsing fibres

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 111, Issue 2, February 2025.
Abstract We prove a universal substitution formula that compares generating series of Euler characteristics of Nakajima quiver varieties associated with affine ADE diagrams at generic and at certain non‐generic stability conditions via a study of collapsing fibres in the associated variation of GIT map, unifying and generalising earlier results of the ...

Chern-Weil homomorphism in twisted equivariant cohomology [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
We describe the Cartan and Weil models of twisted equivariant cohomology together with the Cartan homomorphism among the two, and we extend the Chern-Weil homomorphism to the twisted equivariant cohomology. We clarify that in order to have a cohomology theory, the coefficients of the twisted equivariant cohomology must be taken in the completed ...

Zero‐curvature subconformal structures and dispersionless integrability in dimension five

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 110, Issue 6, December 2024.
Abstract We extend the recent paradigm “Integrability via Geometry” from dimensions 3 and 4 to higher dimensions, relating dispersionless integrability of partial differential equations to curvature constraints of the background geometry. We observe that in higher dimensions on any solution manifold, the symbol defines a vector distribution equipped ...
