On the existence of G-equivariant maps
Bulletin of the Brazilian Mathematical Society, New Series, 2012At times, the non-existence of a certain kind of map has interesting consequences, such as the Borsuk--Ulam Theorem. In this paper the authors show the non--existence of certain \(G\)--equivariant maps between free \(G\)--spaces. Let \(R\) be a PID and \(G\) a compact Lie group.

ON THE EXTENSION OF EQUIVARIANT MAPPINGS
Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1975It is proved that a metric space with a homeomorphism of prime period is an equivariant extensor for metric spaces with -dimensional complement if and only if the space itself and the set of fixed points of the homeomorphism are homotopically connected and locally homotopically connected in dimension .Bibliography: 9 titles.

On Equivariant Maps of Spaces with Operators
The Annals of Mathematics, 1952If a group G operates on the spaces X and Y we define a G-equivariant map f: xY to be one having the property fg = gf, all g e G. In the first part of this paper we give a necessary condition for the existence of equivariant maps and examine some of its consequences. In the second we show that under appropriate circumstances the condition is sufficient
