Cohomology of moduli spaces of Del Pezzo surfaces
Abstract We compute the rational Betti cohomology groups of the coarse moduli spaces of geometrically marked Del Pezzo surfaces of degree 3 and 4 as representations of the Weyl groups of the corresponding root systems. The proof uses a blend of methods from point counting over finite fields and techniques from arrangement complements.

Characterizing digital microstructures by the Minkowski‐based quadratic normal tensor
For material modeling of microstructured media, an accurate characterization of the underlying microstructure is indispensable. Mathematically speaking, the overall goal of microstructure characterization is to find simple functionals which describe the geometric shape as well as the composition of the microstructures under consideration and enable ...

Double weighting convolutional neural net‐works for multi‐view 3D shape recognition
Abstract Three‐dimensional (3D) object recognition based on multiple views has been a popular area of research in recent years. Existing methods based on the grouping mechanism cannot sensibly group the views. Thus, the 3D shape descriptor that is generated by the final fusion is not representative, and the recognition accuracy still requires ...

The research of (G,w)-Chaos and G-Lipschitz shadowing property
In this paper, we introduce the concepts of (G,w)− Chaos and G− Lipschitz shadowing property. We study the dynamical properties of (G,w)− Chaos in the inverse limit space under group action.

Equivariant wave maps exterior to a ball [PDF]
We consider the exterior Cauchy-Dirichlet problem for equivariant wave maps from 3+1 dimensional Minkowski spacetime into the three-sphere. Using mixed analytical and numerical methods we show that, for a given topological degree of the map, all solutions starting from smooth finite energy initial data converge to the unique static solution (harmonic ...

ReBiDet: An Enhanced Ship Detection Model Utilizing ReDet and Bi-Directional Feature Fusion
To enhance ship detection accuracy in the presence of complex scenes and significant variations in object scales, this study introduces three enhancements to ReDet, resulting in a more powerful ship detection model called rotation-equivariant ...

Non-isometric codes for the black hole interior from fundamental and effective dynamics
We introduce a new holographic map for encoding black hole interiors by including both fundamental and effective dynamics. This holographic map is constructed by evolving a state in the effective, semiclassical gravity description of the interior ...

Generalized Permutants and Graph GENEOs
This paper is part of a line of research devoted to developing a compositional and geometric theory of Group Equivariant Non-Expansive Operators (GENEOs) for Geometric Deep Learning. It has two objectives. The first objective is to generalize the notions
