Nuclear ErbB Receptors: Pathways and Functions

Accumulating evidence suggests a new mode of ErbB receptor signaling in which intact or fragmented ErbB receptors traffic from the cell surface to the nucleus following the addition of a cognate ligand. In the nucleus, ErbB receptors have a role, probably indirect, in modulating gene expression.
