ERDA's fossil energy activities
Environmental Science & Technology, 1976Highlights of the direction of ERDA's fossil fuel activities are reviewed. Synfuels from coal and enhanced methods to recover oil, natural gas and oil shale may be competitive and socially acceptable options to alternative energy sources in the not-too-distant future.

ERDA of solar selective absorbers
Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B: Beam Interactions with Materials and Atoms, 1996Abstract ERDA (elastic recoil detection analysis) with 200 MeV I beams was used during the development of new solar selective absorber materials (TiN x O y and AlCu x Fe y ). Depth profiles of the light and heavy components were measured simultaneously using a detector system with particle identification.

ERDAS ist ein integriertes, rasterbasiertes Bildverarbeitungsund geographisches Informationssystem. Bei der Entwicklung wurde besonderen Wert auf die Implementierung und Berucksichtigung bestehender, bzw. sich kunftig abzeichnender Standards und auf eine moglichst weitgehende Unabhangigkeit von Spezialhardware gelegt.

Študij kovinskih materialov z metodo ERDA: ERDA studies of metals:
1999Chemical composition of the surface layer of titanium cathode strips taken from a sputter ion pump was measured. The samples were cleaned by sand blasting with glass spheres and etching in a HF acid. Some samples were also heated in pure hydrogene atmosphere.
