On the Ergodic Secrecy Rate of Cooperative Decode-and-Forward Relay Networks

2014 IEEE Military Communications Conference, 2014
In this article, we develop a unified analytical framework for investigation of the ergodic secrecy rates of cooperative decode-and-forward relay networks in a myriad of fading environments. We utilized an exponential-type integral representation for the logarithmic function to derive an approximate expression for the ergodic secrecy rates of ...

Achievable Ergodic Secrecy Rate in Bursty Interference Channels With Opportunistic User Scheduling

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2019
This paper studies secure transmissions in a bursty interference channel constructed by opportunistic user scheduling. To improve the physical layer security, we propose a signal-to-noise-plus-interference ratio (SINR) based opportunistic transmission scheme and mathematically analyze the ergodic secrecy rate per transmitter-receiver pair.

Ergodic secrecy sum rate maximization in downlink sparse code multiple access network

2017 20th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC), 2017
Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) has been recognized as a promising candidate technique for fifth generation (5G) cellular network to improve spectral efficiency (SE). In this paper, physical layer security (PLS) in a downlink single-input single-output (SISO) SCMA system is investigated, which includes one base station (BS), multiple legitimate ...

Ergodic Secrecy Rate of Randomly Deployed Cellular Networks Enhanced by Artificial Noise

2017 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), 2017
As the future cellular networks tend to be randomly deployed and equipped with more antennas, we study the enhanced secrecy rate of multiple- input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with a stochastic geometry approach. To avoid intractable computational complexity and to have a deep insight into the security performance of such networks, we derive a ...

Ergodic secrecy rate of two-user MISO interference channels with statistical CSI

Science China Information Sciences, 2014
This paper considers a two-user multiple-input single-output (MISO) interference channel with confidential messages (IFC-CM), where the beamforming vectors at the two transmitters are jointly optimized using the closed-form Pareto-optimal parameterization.

Ergodic Secrecy Rate of $K$-User MISO Broadcast Channel With Improved Random Beamforming

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2019
In this paper, we study the secrecy performance of a $K$ -user multi-input single-output (MISO) broadcast channel with random beamforming (RB), where the transmitter is equipped with $N$ antennas, and the eavesdropper has $N_e$ antennas.

Ergodic Secrecy Sum-Rate for Downlink Multiuser MIMO Systems With Limited CSI Feedback

IEEE Communications Letters, 2014
This paper investigates the ergodic secrecy sum-rate for the downlink multiuser MIMO system with independent confidential messages, each of which is intended for one of the users and should keep secret from others. We adopt zero-forcing beamforming with limited channel state information (CSI) feedback at the transmitter, and derive the closed-form ...

On the ergodic secrecy rate of multiple-antenna wiretap channels using artificial noise and finite-rate feedback

2011 IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2011
We consider the problem of secure communication in wireless fading channels in the presence of quantized version of the receivers channel sate information at transmit side. The transmitter has multiple antennas and is able to simultaneously transmits an information bearing signal and artificial noise.

Performance Analysis of Ergodic Secrecy Rates in Massive MIMO-NOMA Networks with Zero-Forcing Precoding

2019 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC), 2019
In this paper, we investigate the secrecy performance of massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) networks with the presence of a passive eavesdropper. Based on the estimated channel state information in an uplink training phase, the base station precodes the confidential information using zero-forcing ...

Ergodic Secrecy Sum-Rate for Multiuser Downlink Transmission via Regularized Channel Inversion: Large System Analysis

IEEE Communications Letters, 2014
In this letter, we study the ergodic secrecy sum-rate of a multiuser downlink system achievable by using the regularized zero-forcing precoding based on imperfect channel estimation. The channels between the base station and users are modeled as fading channels with different spatial correlations and line-of-sight components.
