A cross‐scale modeling strategy is developed to predict failure and formability of DP780 steel by linking microstructural features with macroscopic behavior. Crystal plasticity and macroscopic damage models are integrated and validated through nanoindentation, in situ bending, and finite element simulations.

Cortisol has been linked to poor cancer prognosis but can also be released during exercise. This study shows that transient cortisol exposure, as seen with exercise, does not impair T cell effector functions. In contrast, chronic cortisol signalling suppresses T cell functionality and promotes cancer cell proliferation, highlighting the importance of ...

The share of technical thermoplastics is expected to grow further in the e‐mobility segment. In this study, a detailed temperature‐based tribological characterization of technical thermoplastics is performed. The tribological properties are discussed in terms of the dynamic mechanical properties of polymers at different ambient temperatures. A proof of

ABSTRACT Background Epigenetic modifications such as DNA methylation play a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression in inflammatory diseases, including periodontitis. While previous studies have examined methylation changes during active disease or shortly after treatment, little is known about the epigenetic landscape of periodontal tissues ...

Abstract INTRODUCTION Due to its metabolic effects, dapagliflozin, a sodium‐glucose transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, holds potential as an Alzheimer's disease (AD) therapeutic. METHODS We conducted a double‐blind, randomized, placebo‐controlled, parallel‐group, 12‐week single‐site study to investigate the effect of dapagliflozin in participants with ...
