Two new species of diptilomiopid mites (Acari: Eriophyoidea) from China

Two new species of the family Diptilomiopidae (Acari: Eriophyoidea) from China are described and illustrated. They are Catarhinus sanguinalus sp. nov. on Digitaria sanguinalis (Poaceae) and Rhyncaphytoptus mandshuricae sp. nov. on Fraxinus mandshurica (Oleaceae). Both new species are vagrant on lower leaf surface.

Abstract A new species of eriophyoid nothopodine mite from Australia is described and illustrated. Floracarus perrepae n. sp. causes leaf curling of the Old World climbing fern, Lygodium microphyllum (Cav.) R. Br. and Lygodium reticulatum Schk. (Schizaeaceae) in Queensland. This species was also collected from L. microphyllum in China and New Caledonia
