Erosion Wear Evaluation Using Nektar+ + [PDF]
AbstractErosion wear is the loss of mass on the surface of a solid body in contact with a moving fluid. When the fluid under study has solid particulate material or sediments, the erosion could be significant (Kulu and Kleis, Solid particle erosion: occurrence, prediction and control. Springer, London, 2008; Karimi and Schmid, Wear 156(1):33–47, 1992).

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Microsphere Autolithography—A Scalable Approach for Arbitrary Patterning of Dielectric Spheres
MicroSphere Autolithography (µSAL) enables scalable fabrication of patchy particles with customizable surface motifs. Focusing light through dielectric microspheres creates well defined, tunable patches via a conformal poly(dopamine) photoresist. Nearly arbitrary surface patterns can be achieved, with the resolution set by the index contrast between ...

Effect of the impact angles on the erosion wear resistance of borided AISI 4140 steel
This study evaluates the erosive wear resistance of untreated AISI 4140 steel, borided AISI 4140 steel, and borided AISI 4140 steel subjected to diffusion annealing (DAP). Dual-phase FeB/Fe₂B and single-phase Fe₂B layers were obtained with thicknesses of
