Stream Quality and Benthic Macroinvertebrate Diversity in the Badeye Area, Logone Occidental Province, Southwestern Chad

The aim of this study of benthic macroinvertebrates in the southwestern canton of Badeye in Chad was to analyze the community structure in relation to the physicochemical quality of water in the Man baptem tributary. A total of 4,012 benthic macroinvertebrates were identified and counted in 38 families.

The first record of Dina Prokletijaca (Hirudinida: Erpobdellidae) from Bekhal stream, Erbil, Iraq

The Dina prokletijaca was found in the samples that were obtained from the Bekhal stream for the current investigation. The samples were gathered throughout the course of nine months, from March to October 2021. The reduced number of papillae on the back of D. prokletijaca distinguishes it.
