An Optimal Mapping Method of Error-Correcting Code and Multi-Level Modulation Signal Vector Points
From the brief analysis of the symbol-error distribution law for the corresponding multilevel modulation signal, it is discovered that the feedback decoding for the errors, which are located in different symbol locations, has different error-correcting ...

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Optimal universal quantum error correction via bounded reference frames
Error correcting codes with a universal set of transversal gates are a desideratum for quantum computing. Such codes, however, are ruled out by the Eastin-Knill theorem.

On the number of errors correctable with codes on graphs [PDF]
We study ensembles of codes on graphs (generalized low-density parity-check, or LDPC codes) constructed from random graphs and fixed local constrained codes, and their extension to codes on hypergraphs. It is known that the average minimum distance of codes in these ensembles grows linearly with the code length.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Hierarchical Parallel Evaluation of a Hamming Code
The Hamming code is a well-known error correction code and can correct a single error in an input vector of size n bits by adding logn parity checks. A new parallel implementation of the code is presented, using a hierarchical structure of n processors ...

Error-correcting Source Code [PDF]
We study how constraint-based static analysis can be applied to the automated and systematic debugging of program errors. Strongly moding and constraint-based mode analysis are turning to play fundamental roles in debugging concurrent logic/constraint programs as well as in establishing the consistency of communication protocols and in optimization.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Error correcting index codes and matroids [PDF]
The connection between index coding and matroid theory have been well studied in the recent past. El Rouayheb et al. established a connection between multilinear representation of matroids and wireless index coding. Muralidharan and Rajan showed that a vector linear solution to an index coding problem exists if and only if there exists a representable ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
