Recovery in quantum error correction for general noise without measurement [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
It is known that one can do quantum error correction without syndrome measurement, which is often done in operator quantum error correction (OQEC). However, the physical realization could be challenging, especially when the recovery process involves high-

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Comparing parametric and semiparametric error correction models for estimation of long run equilibrium between exports and imports

open access: yesApstract: Applied Studies in Agribusiness and Commerce, 2017
This paper introduces the semiparametric error correction model for estimation of export-import relationship as an alternative to the least squares approach.

Fault-tolerant quantum computing in the Pauli or Clifford frame with slow error diagnostics [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2018
We consider the problem of fault-tolerant quantum computation in the presence of slow error diagnostics, either caused by measurement latencies or slow decoding algorithms.

PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Path Planning Algorithm of Dijkstra-Based Intelligent Aircraft under Multiple Constraints

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2020
Aiming at the rapid planning of the optimal flight path of the intelligent aircraft, considering the error constraints and correction probability constraints, a model for intelligent aircraft path planning under multiple constraints is constructed, and a

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Anodal Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (atDCS) of the Primary Motor Cortex (M1) Facilitates Nonconscious Error Correction of Negative Phase Shifts

open access: yesNeural Plasticity, 2022
Accurate motor timing requires the temporally precise coupling between sensory input and motor output including the adjustment of movements with respect to changes in the environment. Such error correction has been related to a cerebello-thalamo-cortical

Continuous quantum error correction for non-Markovian decoherence

open access: yes, 2007
We study the effect of continuous quantum error correction in the case where each qubit in a codeword is subject to a general Hamiltonian interaction with an independent bath. We first consider the scheme in the case of a trivial single-qubit code, which

Quantum Error Correction and Orthogonal Geometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
A group theoretic framework is introduced that simplifies the description of known quantum error-correcting codes and greatly facilitates the construction of new examples.
