Task analysis for error identification: Theory, method and validation

open access: yes, 2002
This paper presents the underlying theory of Task Analysis for Error Identification. The aim is to illustrate the development of a method that has been proposed for the evaluation of prototypical designs from the perspective of predicting human error ...

Error analysis of large-diameter subaperture stitching Fresnel diffractive elements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Image quality is dramatically influenced by the stitching errors in a large-diameter stitching Fresnel lens. In this paper, we studied three kinds of errors that can cover all stitching errors in a Cornwell deployed Fresnel lens.

Error modeling and error analysis of three-axis simulation turntable

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2010
:Based on the multi-body system kinematics theory, the error modeling of three-axis simulation turntable is established, and the basic kinematics law of the turntable with error is discussed. According to the structure and principle of turntable, all the

Error analysis of EXAFS measurements

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, 1999
We propose a method to analyze x-ray-absorption fine-structure data that avoids an arbitrary restriction of the size of the model-parameter space. It starts with an a priori guess of the model parameters which is introduced into the fitting procedure by Bayesian arguments. Two different descriptions are discussed to determine the relative impact of the

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Error Analysis of the L1 Scheme on a Modified Graded Mesh for a Caputo–Hadamard Fractional Diffusion Equation

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The L1 scheme on a modified graded mesh is proposed to solve a Caputo–Hadamard fractional diffusion equation with order α∈(0,1). Firstly, an improved graded mesh frame is innovatively constructed, and its mathematical properties are verified ...

An engineering‐oriented variable water flow air‐conditioning system terminal flow rate estimation method based on component flow resistance characteristics

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering, 2021
Water flow rate plays an important role in the modeling prediction, fault detection and diagnosis, and performance optimization of the variable water flow air‐conditioning (VWFAC) system.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
