Analysis of circuit conditions for optimum intermodulation and gain in bipolar cascomp amplifiers with non-ideal error correction [PDF]
The cascoded-compensation or ‘Cascomp’ amplifier offers excellent distortion reduction and thermal distortion rejection, but has not seen widespread use because of a limited gain and increased complexity compared with other topologies.

Regionalized Compensation Method for Nonlinear Error Control
Abstract Although the five-axis machine tool presents excellent advantages of high-speed, -efficiency, and -precision machining of complex curved surface parts (impeller and blade), its actual motion demonstrates nonlinear principle error due to the participation of the rotating axis.

Channel Phase Error Compensation for MIMO-SAR
Multi-input multioutput (MIMO) is a novel technique to achieve high-resolution as well as wide swath in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems. Channel imbalance is inevitable in multichannel systems that it declines the imaging quality.

Reply on the ``Comment on `Loss-error compensation in quantum- state measurements' '' [PDF]
The authors of the Comment [G. M. D'Ariano and C. Macchiavello to be published in Phys. Rev. A, quant-ph/9701009] tried to reestablish a 0.5 efficiency bound for loss compensation in optical homodyne tomography.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

UAV Attitude Angle Measurement Method Based on Magnetometer-Satellite Positioning System
To improve the measurement accuracy of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), in this study, we proposed a method for measuring the attitude angle of a UAV by the combination of a magnetometer and satellite positioning system.
