GPS Ionospheric Error Correction Models

Proceedings ELMAR 2006, 2006
Ionospheric errors are the most influential source of the GPS positioning errors. In an attempt to at least partially improve the GPS positioning process, a global ionospheric correction model is introduced within the standard GPS positioning service.

Network Error Correction Model

2014
In this chapter, we focus on the basic model of linear network error correction (LNEC). First, the basic network error correction model is established over linear network coding. And then, like classical coding theory, the distance between two received vectors at each sink node is proposed to characterize the discrepancy of these two vectors.

Ionospheric range error correction models

2012 International Conference on Localization and GNSS, 2012
Single frequency users of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) need to correct link related ionospheric range errors of up to 100 m. Since this range error is proportional to the Total Electron Content (TEC) of the ionosphere, correction information can be provided by TEC maps deduced from corresponding GNSS measurements or by model values.

Estimation of error correction model with measurement errors

Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, 2020
Effects of measurement errors on the analysis of error correction models (ECMs) of vector processes observed with measurement errors were studied in Hong et al. (2016.

Vector Error Correction Models

2005
As defined in Chapter 2, a process is stationary if it has time invariant first and second moments. In particular, it does not have trends or changing variances. A VAR process has this property if the determinantal polynomial of its VAR operator has all its roots outside the complex unit circle.

ESTIMATION OF NONLINEAR ERROR CORRECTION MODELS [PDF]

open access: possibleEconometric Theory, 2010
Asymptotic theory for the estimation of nonlinear vector error correction models that exhibit regime-specific short-run dynamics is developed. In particular, regimes are determined by the error correction term, and the transition between regimes is allowed to be discontinuous, as in, e.g., threshold cointegration.

Error Correction Models

2002
Errors can be detected into large data sets by means of rule-based techniques (e.g. Fellegi-Holt). They essentially consist in checking if each record satisfies a number of rules. Records not respecting all the rules are declared erroneous records. In all the cases When data collecting has a cost, which are the majority, we are interested in correcting

Models of Learner-Error Corrections

2019
This chapter presents a generalisation of the findings of Chapters 5 and 6 with the purpose of computational modelling of interactional practices of error correction for a Communicative ICALL application. Because proper error recognition is a crucial prerequisite for every correction, issues in the conceptual definition of an error in chat are ...

Error Correction for Fire Growth Modeling

2013
We construct predictions of fire boundary growth using level set methods. We generate a correction for predictions at the subsequent time step based on current error. The current error is captured by a thin-plate spline deformation from the initial predicted boundary to the observed boundary, which is then applied to the initial prediction at the ...
