Quality Increases as the Error Rate Decreases
In this paper we propose an approach to the design of processes and software that aims at decreasing human and software errors, that so frequently happen, making affected people using and wasting a lot of time for the need of fixing the errors. We base our statements on the natural relationship between quality and error rate, increasing the latter as ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

FACE RECOGNITION WITH LOW FALSE POSITIVE ERROR RATE [PDF]
Nowadays face recognition systems are widely used in the world. In China these systems are used in safe cities projects in production, in Russia they are used mostly in closed-loop systems like factories, business centers with biometric access control or

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
