Inference On Nonparametrically Trending Time Series With Fractional Errors [PDF]
The central limit theorem for nonparametric kernel estimates of a smooth trend, with linearly-generated errors, indicates asymptotic independence andhomoscedasticity across fixed points, irrespective of whether disturbances haveshort memory, long memory ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Efficient Estimation of a Dynamic Error-Shock Model [PDF]
This paper is concerned with the estimation of the parameters in a dynamic simultaneous equation model with stationary disturbances under the assumption that the variables are subject to random measurement errors.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

New Tools for Dealing with Errors-in-Variables in DEA. [PDF]
We develop a series of novel conceptual tools to systematically account for errors-in-variables in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). These tools allow for statistical inference while requiring minimal statistical distribution assumptions, and therefore ...

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

Errors-in-variables problems in transient electromagnetic mineral exploration
This paper is motivated by a real estimation problem arising in transient electromagnetic mineral exploration. A specific sub-problem of interest in this area is that of finding the transfer function linking two antennae without utilising the primary ...

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Measurement errors in recall food consumption data [PDF]
Recall food consumption data, which is the basis of a great deal of empirical work, is believed to suffer from considerable measurement error. Diary records are believed to be very accurate.
