Fundamental Sensor Development in Electrical Resistance Tomography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper will provide a fundamental understanding of one of the most commonly used tomography, Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT). Unlike the other tomography systems, ERT displayed conductivity distribution in the Region of Interest (ROI) and ...

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Examination of two major approximations used in the scalar airborne gravimetric system — a case study based on the LCR system

open access: yesJournal of Geodetic Science, 2013
Airborne gravimetry has been proved to be the primary technique to efficiently obtain middle to short wavelength signals of the Earth’s gravity field in regional geodetic applications. In particular, the LCR (LaCoste & Romberg) based scalar system (i.e.,

Characterising sand and gravel deposits using electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) : case histories from England and Wales [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) is a rapidly developing geophysical imaging technique that is now widely used to visualise subsurface geological structure, groundwater and lithological variations.

Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

Direct Comparison of Infrared Channel Measurements by Two ABIs to Monitor Their Calibration Stability

open access: yesRemote Sensing
This paper introduces a method of monitoring infrared channel calibration stability through direct comparison of calibrated radiances by two Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) on two geostationary (GEO) platforms.

Identification of high-permeability subsurface structures with multiple point geostatistics and normal score ensemble Kalman filter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Alluvial aquifers are often characterized by the presence of braided high-permeable paleo-riverbeds, which constitute an interconnected preferential flow network whose localization is of fundamental importance to predict flow and transport dynamics ...

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Patient‐Reported Outcomes with Selpercatinib Among Patients with RET Fusion–Positive Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer in the Phase I/II LIBRETTO‐001 Trial

open access: yesThe Oncologist, EarlyView., 2021
Abstract Background LIBRETTO‐001 is an ongoing, global, open‐label, phase I/II study of selpercatinib in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. We report interim patient‐reported outcomes in patients with RET fusion–positive non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
