Non‐Allergic Urticarial Skin Reactions Associated With MOv18 IgE, a First‐In‐Class IgE Antibody Recognising Folate Receptor Alpha

MOv18 IgE, the first‐in‐class IgE antibody targeting the cancer antigen folate receptor alpha (FR⍺) showed early signs of efficacy and was well tolerated in a first‐in‐human clinical trial, with transient urticarial skin reactions as the most common toxicity.

Direct Single‐Dose Drug‐Provocation Test Is Safe for Delabelling Penicillin Low‐Risk Reactions in Adults

We show that direct single‐dose provocation test was both safe and effective in delabeling penicillin allergy in low‐risk adult patients, including those with mild delayed skin reactions and those with unknown reactions, such as childhood labels and past syncope episodes. Seabather's eruption is an unusual rash that develops in individuals who have been swimming in the ocean. We report the case of a 25-year-old woman who had the rash in a typical bathing suit distribution. Several species of cnidarian larvae have been implicated in causing the disease.
