Molecular-Dynamics Simulation of Vulcanian Eruption
Vulcanian explosive eruption, which is a nonlinear and nonequilibrium abrupt dynamics of magma-gas mixture, is modeled by a two-component Lennard-Jones particle system. Molecular-dynamics simulation of a shock-tube experiment gives consistent results with a explosive eruption picture of volcanology; Shock wave and expansion wave are reproduced.

Repeating Nuclear Transients From Repeating Partial Tidal Disruption Events
ABSTRACT Extragalactic nuclear transients that exhibit repeating outbursts can be modeled as the repeated dynamical interaction between bound stars and supermassive black holes (SMBHs). A subset of these transients, with recurrence timescales of months‐to‐years, have been explained as accretion flares from the repeated tidal stripping of a star by an ...

Triggering an eruptive flare by emerging flux in a solar active-region complex
A flare and fast coronal mass ejection originated between solar active regions NOAA 11514 and 11515 on July 1, 2012 in response to flux emergence in front of the leading sunspot of the trailing region 11515.

Dynamics and evolution of an eruptive flare [PDF]
We study the dynamics and evolution of a C2.3 two-ribbon flare, developed on 2002 August 11, during the impulsive and the long gradual phase. To this end we obtained multiwavelength observations using the CDS spectrometer aboard SOHO, facilities at the NSO/Sacramento Peak, and the TRACE and RHESSI spacecrafts.

Aims This real‐world pharmacovigilance study utilizes FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) data (2004–2024) to characterize age‐related disparities in hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)‐associated adverse events (AEs), addressing gaps in age‐stratified risk assessment. Methods Disproportionality analysis (reporting odds ratios, RORs) and parametric Weibull

Listening to Hong Kong children's perspectives through pretend play
Abstract Quality in early childhood education and care (ECEC) has become an increasing concern in recent years. The issue has been regularly discussed by different stakeholders. However, the rising concern regarding quality in ECEC has not seriously taken into account children's perspectives.

Two Step Filament Eruption During 14-15 March 2015
We present here an interesting two-step filament eruption during 14-15 March 2015. The filament was located in NOAA AR 12297 and associated with a halo Coronal Mass Ejection (CME).

ABSTRACT Human life history is derived compared to that of our closest living relatives, the great apes. It has been suggested that these derived traits are causally related to aspects of our ecology, social behaviour and cognitive abilities. However, resolving this requires that we know the evolutionary trajectory of our distinctive pattern of growth,

Southern Annular Mode response to volcanic eruptions: implications for ice core proxies [PDF]
Large tropical volcanic eruptions have been observed to have a significant influence on the large-scale circulation patterns of the Northern Hemisphere, through mechanisms related to the radiative effects of the sulfate aerosols resulting from the ...

Periodontitis treatment and microbiome in a patient with FAM20A mutation: Case study of 1.5 years
Abstract Background Enamel‐renal‐gingival syndrome (ERGS) is an autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the FAMily with sequence similarity 20A (FAM20A) gene, and is characterized by amelogenesis imperfecta, delayed or failed tooth eruption, and periodontitis.
