Analysis of population structure of Erysiphe necator using AFLP markers

open access: yesPlant Pathology, 2006
An analysis of the population structure of Erysiphe necator from Spain was carried out to determine if population structure of grapevine powdery mildew is partitioned by origin of primary inoculum, i.e. overwintering ascomata on grapevine bark and mycelia in dormant buds.

Monitoring fungicide resistance frequencies – a case study of barley net blotch

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 6, Page 5936-5947, June 2026.
Droplet digital PCR revealed the frequency of alleles associated with decreased sensitivity to demethylation inhibitor (DMI) and succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) fungicides in Pyrenophora teres from barley net blotch in Western Australia. The findings highlight field‐level allele dynamics and emerging risks to fungicide efficacy.

Ectopic Expression in Arabidopsis thaliana of an NB-ARC Encoding Putative Disease Resistance Gene from Wild Chinese Vitis pseudoreticulata Enhances Resistance to Phytopathogenic Fungi and Bacteria

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2015
Plant resistance proteins mediate pathogen recognition and activate innate immune responses to restrict pathogen proliferation. One common feature of these proteins is an NB-ARC domain. In this study, we characterized a gene encoding a protein with an NB-

open access: yes, 2017
The extracts of wild grapevines (Vitis) leaves (EHVS) from three accessions (P178, E-200 and TN-4) at 6, 8 and 12 % v/v, were tested in vitro to evaluate their inhibitory effect on Botrytis cinerea development. Resveratrol (RVS) (60, 90, 120 µg/mL),

Timing Fungicide Application Intervals Based on AirborneErysiphe necatorConcentrations [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Disease, 2017
Management of grape powdery mildew (Erysiphe necator) and other polycyclic diseases relies on numerous fungicide applications that follow calendar or model-based application intervals, both of which assume that inoculum is always present. Quantitative molecular assays have been previously developed to initiate fungicide applications, and could be used ...
