Relationship between Electrophoretic Mobility of Erythrocytes and Blood Erythrocyte Count in Rats
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2005A significant curvilinear relationship was found between erythrocyte count in rat blood and electrokinetic characteristics of these cells. Electrophoretic mobility of erythrocytes remained unchanged, slightly increased, or decreased with increasing cell count in the vascular bed depending on animal state.

Erythrocyte count and hemoglobin levels in diabetic women
European Journal of Applied Physiology and Occupational Physiology, 1984Fasting blood glucose, erythrocyte counts hemoglobin levels of 131 Libyan diabetic women of Tripoli , Libya were determined. The respective mean values were 223 +/- 7 mg X dl-1, 4.97 +/- 0.034 X 10(6) X mm-3 and 14.4 +/- 0.127 g X dl-1. Sixty-five percent of these diabetic women were obese. The highest percent of diabetics belong to the age group 46-55

Leucocyte count, platelet count and erythrocyte sedimentation rate in pulmonary tuberculosis.
African journal of medicine and medical sciences, 1996We have evaluated the haematological values of 50 adult patients with untreated pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) and compared them with those of 50 normal age and sex-matched controls. Anaemia (usually mild) and an invariably (but moderately) elevated ESR were observed as expected.

The erythrocyte differential count in newborn infants.
The American journal of pediatric hematology/oncology, 1983The three-dimensional shape of erythrocytes is assessed by light microscopy using a simple technique to view glutaraldehyde-fixed erythrocytes. The technique and its standardization is described. Using this method the erythrocytes of adults have been compared to those of full-term and premature infants.
