Erythromycin and erythromycin-neomycin for intestinal antisepsis
The American Journal of Surgery, 1957Abstract 1. 1. Erythromycin alone is not a satisfactory agent for preoperative preparation of the colon. 2. 2. Erythromycin-neomycin is one of the most effective combinations yet studied for preoperative intestinal antisepsis. The possible complications which might result from the routine use of this combination have been discussed.
