Materials and Corrosion, Volume 77, Issue 9, Page 1500-1516, September 2026.Hybrid SiOₓ‐CVD/PDMS ultrathin films mitigate atmospheric corrosion of additively manufactured AlSi10Mg. Electrochemical analyses show reduced corrosion currents, increased charge‐transfer resistance, and suppressed pitting due to diminished cathodic activity and limited oxygen and ion transport under NaCl exposure.
