ABSTRACT Peptides are increasingly employed as active ingredients in both therapeutic and cosmeceutical applications due to their high biological specificity, favorable safety profiles, and expanding market relevance. In topical formulations, peptide activity is typically confined to the skin, where widespread dermal proteases may significantly affect ...

ABSTRACT Theacrine (1,3,7,9‐tetramethyluric acid) is a purine alkaloid detected in multiple wild and specialised tea germplasms (Camellia sinensis) from South China, including Kucha. However, the molecular mechanisms governing its biosynthesis remain poorly understood. Here, we identify CsTcS2 as a novel theacrine synthase in tea plant.

We generated a compound by chemical modification that can efficiently rescue growth without decreasing the immune response of the chs3‐2D autoimmune mutants, thus chemically uncoupling its growth–defence trade‐off. Abstract Plant development in many species including Arabidopsis relies on the accurate balance between growth and defence.

Epoxidation of Cashmeran and Unprecedented Rearrangement to an α‐Carbonyl δ‐Spirolactone
A new strategy enables diastereoselective conversion of Cashmeran into a previously unknown α‐carbonyl δ‐spirolactone via epoxidation, Baeyer–Villiger oxidation, and acid‐catalyzed rearrangement. Structure and mechanism were confirmed by NMR, single crystal X‐ray diffraction, and computational studies. We report the epoxidation of Cashmeran followed by

ABSTRACT The increasing prevalence of cannabis use, including among pregnant women, highlights the critical need for a deeper understanding of prenatal cannabis exposure. This study aimed to develop a standardized cross‐species inhalation exposure protocol to administer the principal psychoactive component of cannabis, Δ9‐tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), to

ABSTRACT The combined use of probiotics and policosanols has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for the management of obesity. Here, we investigated the efficacy of an innovative mixture, containing probiotics (Bifidobacterium infantis GM‐21, Bifidobacterium bifidum GM‐25, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GM‐28) and policosanols in counteracting and ...
